Courtier 2: Who is she?
Courtier 3: I have never seen her!
Courtier 4: Look at the Prince! He is very happy!
Courtier 5: The Prince is in love!
Courtier 6: What a nice couple!

Scena 2
(Si sentono rintocchi di orologio)

Storyteller 1:    The clock struck midnight
Storyteller 2:    Cinderella ran away and lost her shoe
Storyteller 3:    The Prince ran after Cinderella
Storyteller 4:    He found her shoe
Messenger 1:    Whose shoe is this?
Messenger 2:    The Prince will marry her!
Stepsister 1:     It's mine!… It's mine!
Messenger 1:   Try it on, please!
Messenger 2:   It doesn't fit, sorry!
Stepsister 2:    It's mine!… It's mine!
Messenger 1:   Try it on, please!
Messenger 2:   It doesn't fit, sorry!

Cinderella:      Please let me try the shoe on
Stepmother:   No, you can't!

(Entra il Principe)

Prince:         Yes, she can, Madam!

(Cinderella prova la scarpa)

Messengers:    It fits perfectly!
Prince:           Cinderella do you want to marry me?
Cinderella:      Oh yes my prince!!!

(Intanto intorno alla coppia si raduna gente)

All together:   Hurray! Hurray! Long life and happiness!
                      Hurray! Hurray!
